He was predeceased by: his wife Melita; and his son Frederick Fingerlin Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Robert, Michael, Cynthia Hurley, Richard and Helene McLees; and his siblings, Alice Hofer and Richard Fingerlin. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
