He was predeceased by: his parents, Gavin R. Allan and Alice Allan (Childs). He is survived by: his wife Roma M. Allan (Uhler); his daughter Amy Jennings of Kutztown, PA; and his stepchildren, Lynette Kline of Kutztown, PA, Cheryl Rothrock of Belleview, FL, Bruce Berger of Shoemakersville, PA and Michael Berger of Leesport, PA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
