She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vernon Farrell and Mary Elizabeth Farrell; her grandson Carl Harney; her former husband Linwood H. Cecil, Jr.; and her pets, Quincey and Molly.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ericka Harney (Dwayne) of Winchester, Virginia and Shannon Abelende (Derek) of La Plata, Maryland.; her grandchildren, D. J. Harney, Austin Harney, Alyssa Edgar, Taylor Hamlet, Gavin Abelende and Landon Abelende; and her siblings, Jack Farrell (Janet) of California and Phyllis Farrell Blair of Leonardtown, Maryland.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
