She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny McDaniel and Lizzie McDaniel; her husband William J. Barfield (Bill); and her daughter Barbara Parker. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Lindsey (John) and Diane Hill (Ernest); her son-in-law Rex Parker; her grandchildren, Sherry Flowers (Thomas), Sandy O'Bryan (Jeff), Susan Hall (Wade), Mel Lindsey, John Parker (Erin), Rex Parker Jr. and Jeff Hill (Teresa); her great grandchildren, Carson Baggett (Shayn), Hunter Flowers, Bret O'Bryan, Brylee O'Bryan, Maelee Hall, Carter Hall, Seth Parker (Jikemia), Natalie Elliott (Brendan), Grant Parker, Michael Hill and Megan Hill; and her great great grandchildren, Banks Baggett, Scarlet Parker and Jameson Elliott.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peavy Funeral Home (20367 NW Evans Ave, Blountstown, FL 32424). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted or donations to Vitas Hospice in her memory.
