She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Hammitte (Ken) of Trussville, AL; her grandchildren, Hannah Hammitte Surface (Mitch) of Trussville, AL, Samuel Hammitte (Patton) of Huntsville, AL and Sarah Hammitte Venos (Zac) of Trussville, AL; her great grandchildren, Margaret Louise, Mary Boyd Surface, Samson, Harry and Susan May Hammitte; her brother Johnny Redd (Sherry) of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; her nephews, George Redd of New Smyrna Beach and John Redd (Gina) of Sanford, Florida; her great-nephew Tommy; and her great-nieces, Stella and Layla Redd. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In honor of her life and her journey with Parkinson's disease, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Parkinson's research in her memory.
