She was predeceased by: her mother Missy Barfield; her husband Jodie Eugene Tatum, Sr.; and her son Jodie Eugene Tatum, Jr.. She is survived by: her father William Eugene; her daughter Emily Carey; her grandchildren, Khaleesi and Lincoln Carey; and her siblings, Bud Barfield and Linda Gay.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel (20367 NW Evans Ave, Blountstown, FL 32424).
