He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lee and Lillie Mae Melvin; and his brother Charles Hough. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Staggs (Jeff) of Tennessee; his siblings, Franklin Melvin of Clarksville and Mary Eunice Lewis of Blountstown; his grandchildren, Christopher and Jessica Staggs; his great grandchildren, Adrianna, Trinity, Talon and Tesley; and his sister-in-law Anne Hough. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
