She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Peak Summers and Tom Henry Nelson; her siblings, Catherine Reather and Phillip Nelson; her granddaughter Rachel Nicole Phillips; and her former husband James W. Vinson.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa W. Phillips (Gene), Nelson Woodham, Tom Woodham (Jacqueline) and Evan Shuler (Shalene). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel (20367 NW Evans Ave, Blountstown, FL 32424). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
