She was predeceased by: her siblings, Carlos Jerome Kirkland and Mary Alice Kirkland. She is survived by: her husband James C. Strickland; her brother-in-law Donald Chambers; and her sibling's children, Marsha Rudd and Robert Chambers. She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peavy Funeral Chapel (20367 NW Evans Ave, Blountstown, FL 32424). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
