With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tammy Collins Whitfield in Blountstown, Florida, born in Kissimmee, Florida, who passed away on August 31, 2025 at the age of 55. Though Tammy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tammy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Justin Smith (Kimberly) and Brittany Cauthen (Grey); her stepdaughter Amanda Hires (Clay); her sisters, Shelia Collins Hernandez (Stan) and Shanne Smith (Ben); her husband Mark Whitfield; her parents, Dan Collins and Betty Stanley; and her sister Diane Collins. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Home Church (19244 FL-69, Blountstown, FL 32424).
