He is survived by: his parents, Maria Conceição of Oliveira Luís and Joaquim Luís; his wife Teresa Rodrigues of Abreu Vala; his children, Adriano Luis Vala Jr. and Fatima Abreu Vala; his granddaughter Ava; and his father-in-law Adriano Abreu. He is also survived by his three brothers and three sisters.
