Benedetto DeCosmo Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benedetto DeCosmo (Boca Raton, Florida), born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 17, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe DeCosmo and Angelina DeCosmo (Fico); his siblings, Carmelo, Vito, Rose Pelletier and Marie Register; his grandson Joseph DeCosmo; his stepson William Borden; his son-in-law Vincent Villamaino; Joan M. DeCosmo (Hachey).

He is survived by: his wife Gertrude E. DeCosmo (Mullen); his children, Donna Geiss (John) of Southwick, MA, Linda Jensen (Phil) of Agawam, MA and Joseph DeCosmo of Westfield, MA; and his stepdaughters, Anne-Marie Villamaino of Hampden, MA, Susan White (John) of Stafford, CT and Nancy Cokotis (Peter) of East Longmeadow, MA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and treasured friends.
