He was predeceased by: his uncle Guy Cox. He is survived by: his wife Eugenia Cox; his children, Catharine Yarbrough, David Cox, Jr. (Kami) and Christine Heinz; his stepson Anton Kazantsev; and his brother James Louis Cox. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
