Doryce Arlene Saar Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doryce Arlene Saar of Boca Raton, Florida, born in Hollywood, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gudrun Larson and Louis Edwin Larson; her son Mark Allen Saar; her husband Edward H. Saar; her brothers, Ellwood Larson (Reda Larson) and Paul Larson; and her brother-in-law Clyde Deshields.

She is survived by: her son Eddie Saar (Oliver Colmenares); her siblings, Marjorie Deshields and Dean Larson (Nancy); and her nieces, Debbie Stine and Kathy Larson Cooley. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and treasured family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, Doryce requested that memorial donations be made to the Broward County Humane Society.
