He is survived by: his children, Nidia Chediak and Henry Lavernia; his grandchildren, Andria Chediak, Sasha Chediak and Geordan Speiller; his great grandchildren, Kyla Townsend and Tysen Townsend; and his brothers, Ivan Lavernia and Milton Lavernia.
