We announce the death of Florence Pavel (Boca Raton, Florida), who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 103. Florence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dumitru Suciu and Lenca Suciu (Rasadean); her husband Sgt. George Pavel; her son Daniel; her son-in-law William Johnson (Bill); her brothers, Dimitre (Jimmy) Suciu (Valerie) and Louis Suciu (MaryAnn); her siblings-in-law, John Manica and Marioara Manica; her nephews, Randy Suciu and Dr. John Manica; her great-nephew Andrew Suciu (Drew); and her niece Janet Suciu.
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzette Johnson and Rhonda Bryant; and her grandchildren, Timothy Bryant (Zhiyuan Liu), Kevin Bryant (Kristen), Amy Bryant (Greg Betcher) and Natalie Bryant. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 8:30 AM at the St Mark Greek Orthodox Church (2100 NW 51st St, Boca Raton, FL 33431). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
