He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Chapekis, Sr.; and his brother James Chapekis. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Chapekis; his sons, Christopher Chapekis (Michelle Wesley Chapekis) and Dr. Jonathan Chapekis (Amy Bissada Chapekis); his mother Bertha Chapekis; his brother Ted Chapekis, Jr. (Linda Semark Chapekis); his grandchildren, Mya, Eve and Theo Chapekis; and his nieces, Christina and Alexandra Chapekis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church, American Cancer Society and Orthodox Missions Mexico.
