He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Panayiota, Nikolas, Athena and Democratis; his parents, Nicolas Thiakos and Panagiota Thiakos; his siblings, Helen Maiurro and Dorathy Gass; his siblings-in-law, Clarke Petty, Lynne Giard (Marlyse Petty) and Grayden Petty; his mother-in-law Anne Hunter; his nieces and nephews, Vito, Ellie, Jenny, Steven, Michael, Andrea, Maddeline and Janine; and his aunts and uncles, Tasso, Olga, Mary and Kosta Maravelas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church.
