It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guillermo Monroy of Boca Raton, Florida, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Ernesto Monroy; and his parents, Manuel Guillermo Monroy and Ana Beatriz Parra of Monroy. He is survived by: his significant other Bertha Leonor Monroy (Colombia) of Boca Raton, FL; his children, Guillermo Enrique Monroy (Tina O'Keefe) of Delray Beach, FL, Varinia Van Ness of Sarasota, FL, Silvia Venezia Hagan (Michael Hagan) of Palm City, FL and Diana Alexandra Carvajal (Miguel Angel Carvajal) of Delray Beach, FL.; and his grandchildren, William Alexander Van Ness (Ciara Van Ness), Alyssa Nicole Monroy, Andrew Scott Van Ness, Michael Anthony Van Ness, Adrianna Beatriz Venezia, Matthew Robert Venezia, David Guillermo Monroy, Nicholas Alexander Venezia and William Anthony Venezia.
