He was predeceased by: his wife Jean (Jean); his children, Debra Darpino and Daniel Marino Darpino (Victoria); his siblings, Dominick Darpino, Gloria Ferrera and Claire Tulino; and his brother-in-law Joseph Salvo.

He is survived by: his sister Jean Mendola; and his brother-in-law Michael Salvo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
