He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Cocchia and Emma Cocchia; his brother Salvatore Cocchia; and his nephew Mark Cocchia. He is survived by : his wife Beverly Anne Montrose; his son Nicholas Cocchia Jr. (Michelle); his grandsons, Joseph and Samuel Cocchia; his aunt Edith Rostanzo; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Robert and Susanne DeSantis; his sister-in-law Salvatrice Cocchia; his niece Jo-Ann Longo (Dan DeMerritt); his great-niece Karen Stafford (Brett); and also Ashley (Stefon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (301 Ann St, Newburgh, NY 12550). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (304 Walsh Ave, New Windsor, NY 12553).
