He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Alpart; his close friend Martin Scher; and his brothers-in-law, Harvey Alpart and Ronald Klein. He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Beth) and David (Corinn); his sister Marilyn Klein; his sisters-in-law, Paula Alpart and Barbara Scher; and his grandchildren, Michael Scher, Rachel Brown (Ben), Benjamin Scher (Stephanie) and Andrew (Allie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
