He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Newell Trainer and Percy Bradford Trainer; and his siblings, Alton Trainer of South Carolina, Marion Sordillo of Maine and Barbara Durkee of Massachusetts.
He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Vargus of Massachusetts, June Conroy of Rhode Island and Linda Gallo (Peter) of North Carolina. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
