He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marguerite Dingle (Mickey); his children, Dr. Susan Hagen (Andrew), Scott Dingle (Deborah), Shari Costantini (Chip), Steven Dingle (Amy), Dr. Sean Dingle and Sander Dingle (Jacquelyn); his grandchildren, Adam Hagen (Amanda), Leah McSwain (Brian), Brooke May (Blake), Colin Dingle, Katherine Soto (Spencer), Cody Dingle (Deana), Emelia Sandifer, Hannah Sandifer, Sophia Sandifer, Kyle Dingle (Maria), Ryan Dingle, Kelsey Dingle, Sean Dingle, Jack Dingle, Lexi Dingle, Finn Dingle, Luke Dingle and Lauren Dingle; his great grandchildren, Mason Hagen and Rory McSwain; and his parents, Ernest Dingle and Sarah Dingle.

It was Ron's wish to donate his earthly body to scientific study at the University of Miami. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Advent Lutheran Church Building Fund, where Pastor Dingle's final long range expansion project is planned to begin.
