He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Charles Dean and Mildred Slay Dean. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Dean of Bonifay, FL; his children, Michael Dean (Christa) of Bonifay, FL and Lisa Barton (Greg) of Bonifay, FL; his grandchildren, Ryan (Amy Dean), Justin Barton, Brandon Dean, Jamie Dean and Kacie Dean; and his great grandchild Isabelle Dean.
