He is survived by: his sons, Michael Pettis (Cynthia) of Bonifay, FL, Jerry Pettis (Angie), Dale Pettis (Elizabeth) of Bonifay, FL and Russell Pettis (Angie) of Bonifay, FL; and his sister Bonnie Smith of Bonifay, FL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carmel Assembly of God Church (1485 Carmel Church Rd, Bonifay, FL 32425). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
