She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stewart and Nancy Lee Stewart; her husband William Sanford Haney Jr.; her son Earl William Haney; and her siblings, Doyle Stewart, Odell Stewart, Leo Stewart, Winna Mae Todd and Gracie Lee Schutz.
She is survived by: her daughter Joann Cox of Pace, FL; and her grandchildren, Jeffery, Shay, Charles and Amanda. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
