She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Wilbur Mills and Mary Elizabeth Bellamy; her husband Sylvester Woodrow Carter, Sr.; her children, Mary Ann Carter Hendrix, Evelyn Rodriguez (Paul) and Sylvester Woodrow Carter, Jr. (Susan Michelle); her grandchildren, Lola LeeAnn Hendrix, Sterling Carter Hendrix, Angel Brunick, Makayla Rodriguez, Suzanna Gatlin, Evelyn Carter and MaryAnn Carter; and her great grandchildren, Freya Brunick, Titus Brunick, Stella Smith, Jaxon Gatlin and Paisley Bailey.
