It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Durell Eldridge of Bonifay, Florida, born in Marianna, Florida, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Ray Eldridge; his sister Christina Eldridge; and his grandparents, Louis Gears, Leon Howard Eldridge, Annie Eldridge Spence and James Durell Spence.
He is survived by: his son Creek Durell Eldridge; his mother Lee Ann York (Joe); his siblings, Cecil Ray Eldridge II (Connie), Elizabeth Henderson (Jeff), Charles Q. Eldridge and Mary Caitlyn Stacey (Dustin); his uncle Leon; his aunt Jennifer Eldridge; and his grandmother Jo Ann Gears. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peel Funeral Home (301 E Evans Ave, Bonifay, FL 32425). A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Peel Funeral Home Chapel (301 E Evans Ave, Bonifay, FL 32425).
