It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Portman of Bonifay, Florida is shared. Robert, born on December 25, 1934, passed away on July 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Etta Howe and Homer Portman; his brother Bill; and his sister-in-law Helen Portman (Barbara Portman). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Biers; his daughters, Marcia Thompson (Jim) and Melinda King (Tom); his grandchildren, Lindsay Ross (John), Carleton Haack (Mallory), Cory Cook (Kinsey) and Bo Cook (Morgan); his great grandchildren, John and Charlotte Ross; and his grandchildren, Griffin, Breck, Brennen, Jack Cook and Cooper Cook.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made "In Honor of Bob Portman" to Shriners Hospitals for Children (http://www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org) or Gary Sinise Foundation (http://www.garysinisefoundation.org).
