With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rocky Lane Koons of Bonifay, Florida, born in Bakersfield, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Frederick David Koons and Joyce Delores Svatek. He is survived by : his wife Cindy Emdy-Koons; his children, David Koons, Jessica Koons, Rachel Anderson, Tim, Rebekah Gheen, Kourtney, Josh Koons, Sierra, Jodi Emdy and Jennifer; and his siblings, Debbie Green, John, Mark Koons and Lynette. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (311 N Waukesha St, Bonifay, FL 32425). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
