Alys R. Morande Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alys R. Morande (Bonita Springs, Florida), who passed away on August 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alys R. Morande to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Alys farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alys is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Katz and Marion Katz; her brother Bradley Katz; and her husband Robert J. Morande (Bob). She is survived by: her nephews, Kenneth Katz of New York and Andrew Katz (Dina) of Pennsylvania; and her great-niece Zoe Katz.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home (28300 S Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134).
