He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick McCarthy and Winifred McCarthy (Nelson). He is survived by : his wife Karen Sue McCarthy; his sons, James Patrick McCarthy (Susen) and Michael Dennis McCarthy (Vickie); and his grandchildren, Jenny Melander (John), Ashley Steiskal (Dan), Megan McCarthy (Tony Martinez), Michael Dennis Jr. McCarthy (Jennifer) and Alec McCarthy (Dorian). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
