He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Levitt and Ethel Levitt (Marla Levitt); and his daughter-in-law Diana Chazin Levitt. He is survived by: his wife Marla; his sons, Daniel, Alan and Murray Levitt; his daughters-in-law, Shari Levitt and Bev Pilcher; his sisters, Diane Levitt and Shari Harman; his brother-in-law Norm Sidley; and his grandchildren, Rachel Fortman, Margo, Noah, Sam, Adam, Joshua and Abraham Levitt.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Minneapolis Jewish Cemetery (7032 Penn Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423). A shiva was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Adath Jeshurun Congregation (10500 Hillside Ln W, Minnetonka, MN 55305).
