We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 82, Robert J. Morande (Bonita Springs, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert J. shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert J. farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Morande, Sr. and Olive Morande; and his brother John Morande (Jack). He is survived by: his wife Alys Katz; his siblings, Jim of Naples, FL, Bill (Lynne) of The Villages, FL and Susan Dougerty (Joe) of Glastonbury, CT.; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home (28300 S Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made in his honor to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital, The Shriner's Hospital or to the Golisano Children's Hospital in Fort Myers, FL.
