He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Knight Franz; his grandchildren, Riley Franz of Cookeville, TN. and Kendyll Franz of Cookeville, TN.; and his siblings, Luna Prestwood, Dian Driskell of Bowling Green, Perry Knight (Sue) and Larry Knight (Connie) of Wauchula. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Robarts Garden Chapel (529 W Main St, Wauchula, FL 33873). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. He always had an idea for a fundraiser or public service projects, some of which included: auctions for the Cancer Society and Education Foundation, hot air balloon launches, First Grade class dinners, Pennies for First Graders, and Drive-Through the Hardee Lakes Park Day Outing during the pandemic.
