He was predeceased by: his son Scott Christopher Reid Jr.; his father Donald Reid; his stepmother Sharron Reid; his mother Marylou Somos; his grandmother Mary Nowak; his brother Clinton Reid; his brother-in-law Rufus Sasser; and his fathers-in-law, Luther Sasser and Ronnie "Punk" Albritton.

He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Reid; his son Hunter Reid (Haley); his siblings, Donald Reid and Cheryl Vandewege; his mother-in-law Margie Albritton; his grandchildren, Meyan Reid and Paisley Reid; and his pet Louie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
