He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Lynn and Minnie Lynn; his brother Myron Lynn; his wives, Shirley Lynn and Rhoda Lynn; and his son-in-law Bruce Morgenstern.

He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Scheffel; his children, Barry Lynn (Patty), Marci Morgenstern (Andy Gerstein) and Jay Lynn (Ellen); and his grandchildren, Bryan Lynn (Lauren), Craig Morgenstern (Brooke), Michelle Ditcheos (Alex), Marissa Lynn, Eric Morgenstern (Sara) and Brittany Lynn. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
