She was predeceased by: her husband David Chestney; and her parents, Max Gendel and Cecilia Gendel. She is survived by: her children, David Salonsky (Arunee), Marc Salonsky (Sharon), Louis Chestney (Claire), Robin Drexler (Barry) and Madeline Sorrentino (Frank Tangredi); her grandchildren, Joshua (Sarah), Geremiah (Stefanie), Jack, Melanie, Francesca, Gilda, Ilana, Andrew (Rhiannon) and Mark; her great grandchildren, Adina, Shia, Aryeh and Naftali; her brother Howard (Marcia); her child Restaurant; and her grandson Josh.
