Mackey and Cindy Thomas (Jim); her daughter-in-law Jacquie; her grandchildren, Shelley Aranas (Ken), Jake Thomas (Angie), Katie Neubert (Eric), Greg Mackey (Kassi), Kevin Penegor (George), Shaun Thomas (Elizabeth), Matt Mackey, Jessy Wiggins (Nick) and TJ Mackey; her great grandchildren, Cecilia, Tate, Flynn, Oliver, Quentin, Brynlee, Grayson, Rowan, Hudson and Noah; her sister Doris Brown (late Russell); her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Carlson (late Carl), Esther Mackey and Marilyn Mackey (late Bob); and her siblings, Jack Lightner (Rita), Wilhelmina Mahoney (Edward), Ruby Backstrom (Bruce) and Winifred Jahneke (Bert).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A Mass was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (2500 S Arbeiter Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431).
