Catherine Coyle Toomey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Coyle Toomey of Boynton Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. Crowley and Catherine B. Crowley; and her grandson Nathaniel Kelliher. She is survived by: her husband Edward "Ted" W. Toomey; her daughter Catherine T. Kelliher (Brian) of Takoma Park, MD; her grandchildren, Lucy and Carter; her children, Edward W. Toomey, Jr. (Michele) of Boca Raton, FL and Mary Glynn Cullinan (Thomas) of Boynton Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Tucker, Charlie and Bridgette; her siblings, William Crowley (Maureen) of Osterville, MA and Mary Anna Carberry (John) of Wellesley, MA.; and her daughter Kate.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lorne and Sons Funeral Home (745 NE 6th Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33483). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church (840 George Bush Blvd, Delray Beach, FL 33483).
In addition to Parkinson's, Kate faced breast cancer in 2012 and was extremely grateful for the treatment and care she received at the Lynn Cancer Institute.
