He was predeceased by: his father Augustine Calnan; and his siblings, Dr. Arthur Calnan and Marian Calnan Pryor. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (McKay); his daughters, Eileen Pierson (Donald Jr.), Sandra Dillon (William) and Brenda Farkas (Joseph); his pets, Fiona and Shamus; and his grandchildren, Heather Milek (Stephen), Donald Pierson III (Dana), Megan, Amanda Pierson, Christopher Farkas, Allison Kemsley (Christopher) and Greg Dillon (Vanessa). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in memory of Don to be made to either the USO (https://www.uso.org) or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org).
