He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Alweis and Mary Alweis; and his siblings, Jack and Peggy. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Aaron (Miriam), Kenneth (Karen) and Adam; and his grandchildren, Daniel (Rivkah), Michael (Malka), Elisa (Melech), Jason and Natalie. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
