He is survived by: his wife Zoila Cortés; his children, Israel Cortés, Jr. and Lourdes Cortés; and his stepchildren, Diulby D. Polanco, Enrique D and Kilsys M. Polanco. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scobee-Combs-Bowden Chapel (599 NE 15th Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33435). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (1000 W Lantana Rd, Lantana, FL 33462).
