She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Werbel and Ethel Werbel; and her husband Bernard Shapiro. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Klein, Hy Shapiro (Kathy), David Shapiro (Debbie), Robin Goldberg (Neil), Joel Shapiro, Lori Wolynetz (Larry) and Yvette Ison (Jordan); and her grandchildren, Jay (Mara), Seth (Leah), Shira (Jared), Adam (Amira), Miriam (Jeremy), Jared, Rakelle, Eden, Ian, Yael (Baruch), Aliza (Anshel), Elie (Cara), Noam (Lauren), Orly, Chase (Marissa), Task (Falan), Tahlo (Shai), Rio (Eli) and Tira. She is also survived by 31 great grandchildren.
