She is survived by: her children, Stephen Lawrence Hamburger, Sandra Joan Hamburger and Linda Joyce Hamburger (Stephen Federico); her sister Dianne Mittenthal; and her nieces and nephews, Drew Saperstein, Dana Zatman, Amy Cohen, Judith Burdick, Douglas Hamburger, Jimmy Howard, Patty Howard Heron, Billy Howard and Susan Howard.
Memorial donations may be made in Joanne's name to the Jewish National Fund, National Jewish Memorial Wall or Trustbridge Hospice Foundation.
