She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Anthony (Matt); her daughter Debra; her sons-in-law, Ronald, John (Christine), Steve (Marie) and Chris; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Evan, Danielle, Taylor, Madison, Ryan and Nicole.
She was described by the Superintendent of Schools as " ..an integral part of the development of children and provided a significant contribution to education".
