She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Smith; her parents, Ike Schaeffer and Goldie Schaeffer (Schaeffer); and her sister Naomi Schaeffer. She is survived by: her children, Nan Smith, Rosalyn, Joy Jacks and Dr. Yoel Smith; her sister Bryna Soroka; and her sister-in-law Helen Goldman.
