She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Degenstein and Clara Degenstein; her former husband Seymour Kaplan; and her husband Alfred Okin. She is survived by: her children, Peter Kaplan, Hal Kaplan and Beth Braithwaite. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren.
