Sanford (Sandy) Friedman
August 19th, 1931 - February 19th, 2020
Sanford (Sandy) Friedman passed away on February 19th, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset, NJ. He was 88.
Sandy was born in Brooklyn, NY August 19th, 1931. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War where he was stationed in Japan. He moved to Old Bridge with his wife Barbara Audrey (Liner) Friedman, where he worked as a computer repairman and raised his family. He was a member of Temple Beth Ohr. When he retired in 1995 they moved to Delray Beach, Florida where Sanford spent many years volunteering as a “Homework Helper” in the Delray Beach Public Library children’s department.
Sandy was predeceased by his wife Barbara, who he was married to for 56 years, his brothers Harvey, Jerry and Fred, and sister Jewel.
Surviving are his three daughters: Judy Duff, Rhonda Dalton and her husband Joe, Kim Muller and her husband Joe, and 3 Grand Children: Eryn Renda, Matthew Dalton and Samantha Muller, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sandy was laid to rest next to his beloved wife at the Eternal Light Cemetery in Boyton Beach, Florida.
